Hearing Loops and Help for those who suffer from hearing loss

Do you or a loved one suffer from hearing loss? Wonderful technology exists that allows an audio signal to be sent directly into a hearing aid, using the t coil setting. T coils exist in 80% of hearing aids in the US, and can be added to many of the ones who don’t have it.

A loop system can be installed in a home, church, place of business, even a car to enable the hearing aid user to have clear and usable audio signal.

Consulting With Clarity owners Brian & Charlotte Haines are trained to design and install hearing loops that comply with the international IEC standard.

Imagine the possibilities:

-being able to hear your television or audio system well without blasting the others in your home

-being able to hear your pastor or priest at church

-being able to hear your pharmacist, doctor,  or bank teller

-being able to hear your spouse on a long (or short) car ride

-being able to keep your employment if being hard of hearing is becoming an issue

-being able to feel “normal” again, not missing out on conversation or having to check out or wear headsets

Friends, this technology has been widely used in Europe for over 20 years and it is expected that public locations have hearing loops. Americans with hearing loss deserve hearing access as much as the physically handicapped deserve accessible bathrooms, ramps and the like.

Being hearing impaired is very difficult. The victim of hearing loss becomes isolated, and it is difficult to communicate with loved ones.

Listen for yourself the difference the loop makes for the hearing impaired.
